Tom Eatmon's Bio

Tom has been interested in aviation since early childhood. He soloed at age 16 in an Aeronca Champ at Ky Flying Service (Dick Maloy) Bowman Field, but dropped out of flying due to work in 1981. He worked for CSX railroad as a Locomotive Engineer and retired as CSX Division Superintendent in 1997.
He also spent 26 years in the military on Active duty and Army National Guard. Vietnam tour in 1968. Highlight of his tour was flying as Artillery AO in 0-1 Birddog - retired a Major in 1981.
He completed 103 parachute jumps, the last one in 1979.
Upon retirement in 1997, he realized a life long dream of owning his own airplane and purchased N4336T.
Tom plays some golf, but says, "Flying is the thing - I totally enjoy EAA chapter 110 and the Young Eagles."
