Membership – Howard Edwards stated that he would like to be part of a membership drive committee, but not the chairman. He suggested that a goal should be set to acquire some number of new members. A discussion followed that included:

Dave Derrick moved that about 100 newsletters be mailed to local members, which was seconded by Don Tucker and approved by the membership. NEW BUSINESS

A letter from Charlie Stone, a Chapter member, explained that he would no longer be attending meetings due to some hearing difficulties.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:51PM.

The program after the meeting included a short presentation by Bruce Edsten about the FAA Safety web site, including how to register to receive notice of events in an area of choice. He then showed some photos taken by Charlie Arrington of the Lee Bottom Fly-in last September. There was a surprising variety of aircraft that flew in for the event.
