EAA CHAPTER 110
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
January 14, 2004

7: 35 President, Tom Hubbuch, called the meeting to order. Vice President, Gary Graham, was present.
7:37 Secretary, Joy Jeffries, read the minutes from the Dec. meeting. They were accepted as read.
7:49 Treasurer, Berry Bannon, gave the treasurer's report. It was accepted as read. Dues are due & calendars are for sale for $8.00.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Hospitality - Tom Mitchell reported 30 members attending and 4 guests. Larry Harmon was very active in a chapter in Missouri and has moved to Corydon. Paul Hibler is a private pilot and interested in the chapter. James Hacker is the speaker. Darryl Conway is building a Murphy and flys for the government.

Young Eagles - the second Saturday in May is to be the next event.

Web Page - Gary Graham and Charlie Gokey to meet with Alan Fox to update the site, clean-up, etc. Roster may be put on the site. Newsletter - need articles.

Bowman Eagles - 40 members and a short waiting list.

Picnic - Tom Hubbuch, Gary Graham, and Berry Bannon are co-chairing. The next picnic will be at the Bardstown airport on June 13. Ideas for activities are always welcomed.

Board Meeting - Bruce Edsten and Alan Fox were added to the board. Topics discussed included picnics, nominating committee, project visits, meeting programs, webpage, newsletter, membership, library and the calendar for the year.

OLD BUSINESS

Enough funds were raised by the end of the meeting to have Gordon Carter's name engraved on the wall at Oshkosh. No additional contribution was needed from the chapter. The need for a contribution from the chapter will be addressed on a case-by-case basis in the future.

The possibility and feasibility of a chapter project/building was again discussed. Bruce Edsten volunteered to check on the availability at Bowman Field.

Members were encouraged to think about what we want as a chapter.

Awards were presented to Bruce Edsten for the newsletter and Gary Graham for service as the VP.

Gary Graham has the form and information to apply to become a Flight Advisor. Jack Kuhn volunteered to do so again.

NEW BUSINESS

Tom Hubbuch will be going to Wick's aircraft if anyone needs him to pick up something.

Bill Tatum reported that CK Dixon was in poor health following knee surgery, but was at home.

Bill also reported that Julian Morris has had bypass surgery.

Jan. 23-25 - Ultralight seminar @ Lexington;

Feb. mtg. - project reviews;

Mar. mtg - Fish dinner, B. Edsten to give program on his trip to Kitty Hawk

8:29 Meeting adjourned. Jim Hacker gave a presentation on "Spam Cans, Heavies, Ercoups, and the Dark Side."
