7: 37 President, Tom Hubbuch, called the meeting to order.
Vice President, Gary Graham, was present.
7:38 Secretary, Joy Jeffries, read the minutes from the Jan. meeting. They were
accepted with the correction that the chapter contributed $55 to the memorial
wall fund.
7:49 Treasurer, Berry Bannon, gave the treasurer's report. It was accepted as
read.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Hospitality - Tom Mitchell reported 21 members attending and 5 guests. Larry Harmon, Paul Hibler, Mike O'Brien & Bob Carlson.
Web Page - the committee is in communication. No update yet.
Newsletter - need articles.
Bowman Eagles - Has 40 members. Champ is in annual.
Picnic - The next picnic will be at the Bardstown airport on June 13.
Flight Advisors & Technical Counselors - Jack Kuhn and Larry Harmon will be flight advisors. Charlie Gokey & EJ Schikli are technical counselors.
OLD BUSINESS
Member contributed $295 of the $350 needed to place Gordon Carter's name on the memorial wall. The chapter will donate the balance.
The chapter agreed that a building fund for the chapter would probably not be feasible. A project would require someone to spearhead it. Berry Bannon suggested something small such as a display. Tom Mitchell volunteered to check with Bill Musselwhite.
Don Tucker and Bruce Edsten attended the Ultralight Safety Seminar in Lexington. Lots of information on Sport Pilot rating, airspace, etc.
George Willenbrock has a printout of about 400 national member
of EAA in the Louisville area to be contacted about joining locally.
NEW BUSINESS
The chapter is planning a project visitation to see Tim O'Connor's peashooters. The date is Saturday, February 21, at his home in Mt. Washington.
Tim O'Connor asked about the possibility of fly-outs. Several members have planes and are willing to make the effort.
Gary Graham suggested a chapter visit to the museum at Wright-Patterson.
March 10, is to be the Fish Dinner at 6:30. Bruce Edsten is to speak on his trip to Kitty Hawk

members' projects.
