President Gary Graham called the meeting to order at 7:17PM.

All officers were present.

Treasurer Berry Bannon reported $2135.43 in savings, $882.65 in checking, $30 petty cash and two $500 CDs. He did not spend anything, but took in $45 in dues.

Greeting Chairman Don Tucker reported 18 members and two guests in attendance.

Rough River Fly-in - Berry showed the artwork for the flight-line badges and described the fly-in.

Web Page & E-mail - Gary reported that the Chapter web page is available again, but still does not know why it went AWOL. He is looking for recent pictures of events of the Chapter.

Old Business:

Picnic - Tom Hubbuch wrote letters to the Freeman Field Air Museum and the Flying Association. Berry sent a check for $100 to the museum. The date, location, attractions and other details for the Fall Picnic will be worked out later.

New Business:

Past and current members health Paul Cox is doing well in Florida. Jack Kuhns is getting a diagnosis on his voice box.

Projects - E.J. Schickli is looking for information and help on setting up the bungee tension on his Nieuport project.

Technical Counselor - Charlie Gokey brought up a question regarding the Amateur-Built Repairman Certificate. Is it valid after only “applying” for the certificate, as a recent Tech. Counselor newsletter states, or does the certificate have to be issued?

The meeting was adjourned at 7:48PM.

Frank Perrone, a local pilot and aviation artist, presented a slide show of paintings that he has completed. The subjects included interpretations of the past, such as Bowman in its heyday, to recent scenes that he has experienced. He had on display several of his works, including a few that have won awards and are displayed in the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Fl.
