President Gary Graham called the meeting to order at 7:36PM.
Vice-president Joy Jeffries was not present.
Secretary Tom Hubbuch was not present - no report.
Treasurer Berry Bannon gave financial report which was accepted as read.
Greeting Chairman Don Tucker reported 23 members and one distinguished guest (Paul Cox) in attendance.
Committee Reports:
Young Eagles - Chairman Jim Lasch reported there will be a YE day Sat. Oct. 8, 9 AM, at the Old Terminal, for JROTC units.
A letter of appreciation from Carolyn Davis was read by Berry Bannon. Her grandchildrfen were given a Young Eagle flight on a hurry up
deal.
Rough River – Berry Bannon reported that everything is still go for Sep. 9 - 11. Dinner ($20) and guest speaker will be on the 10th.

Bowman Eagles – Jack Kuhns reported that a wooden prop was ordered for the Stinson. A discussion as to why followed. It was also
reported that Jack's Stearman was finally back home at Bowman.
Picnic – After a discussion of dates and places it was voted to hold a fall picnic at Scottsburg IN Airport (3R8) on Sunday Oct. 9th.
Old Business:
The Dawn Patrol will be held at Wright-Patterson AFB (KFFO) Sep. 29th - Oct. 2nd. Hope to get a group to
go up.
New Business:
- Ray MacDonald talked about Gordon Carter's 150 that is for sale.
- David Maultsby mentioned that there will be a Sport Pilot Symposium at the LEA hangaron Sep. 10th all day long. The plan is for reps of
various manufacturers of LS airplanes to be present.
- Bill Tatum mentioned the newspaper article about Tom Elliott's Ercoupe in the Courier Journal.
- French Lick (KFRH) and Paoli (I42)are both having fly-ins on Sep. 17.
- Paul Cox talked briefly about his bird strike.
Door Prize:
- Wallace Hardin (I think!) won the Craftsman tool bag.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 PM.
The program following the meeting was a pictorial review of Oshkosh. Just for the record, Bruce has an AWESOME camera.
