CHAPTER 110
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
November 14, 2007

President Gary Graham called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM. after a filling pizza dinner. Gary dispensed with most of the normal business items, but made a few announcements:

There were 27 members and 10 guests in attendance, 29 shared the pizza.

- The Ford Trimotor visit netted the Chapter $2040. Based on the $5 Chapter portion per paying passenger, that is 405 passenger-flights.

- Charlie Arrington has completed his new book, Wings Over the Falls – Center of Aviation, and is available for purchase.

- The Young Eagle day was very successful. 70 kids were flown.

- The Oldham County Airport public hearing was attended by a large majority of residents who were outspokenly against the proposals. A few pro-airport speakers were heard, but were criticized and booed. Gary concluded that the airport is not likely to materialize.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:38PM.

The program following was presented by Jeff Jarvis, an experienced commercial pilot who flew for several companies serving Central & South America, and eventually flew for UPS. His experience included radial engined aircraft and jets.
